About
I a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and have 20+ years of experience in the field of mental health practice. I have primarily worked in the field of addictions both in community practice and in private practice for the past six years. I love being a container or holding space for individuals struggling with trauma, mental health conditions or stresses and anxieties of life transitions and allowing the person’s story to unfold at their own pace. I look forward to adding another healing modality to be able to assist people in a holistic way.
I am originally from San Antonio, TX and currently live in the midwestern U.S in Omaha, NE. I have been married for nine years and with my wonderful spouse now for 27 years. We have a small dog, Precious, who is indeed, precious, and warms our hearts daily. I have one adult son, a daughter-in-law and three granddaughters, ages 13, 5 and almost 1 yr. old who light up my life.
My journey in this life has been very good and I have a ton to be grateful for! And of course, like all of us, I have had my struggles and setbacks. I look forward to making time for a daily breathwork practice to coincide with my daily spiritual practices. I am excited about forming a new community in the world of Breathwork facilitators and hope to be breathing with you soon!

We are fortunate to have such a highly skilled breath work facilitator in our community. Ida-Marie provides a safe space and guides participants through a breath work practice that allows participants to begin an individualized healing journey. I benefited from a recent session and plan to engage in this again in the future.
I received a wonderful one-to-one online breathwork session from Ida-Marie, and I highly recommend working with her. She has an authenticity and presence that had me feeling safe and held even though we were remote via the computer screens. Her guidance, words, voice, and music choice all led me into a deep and helpful breathwork session and emotional release. Thank you Ida-Marie!
