What Makes Our Breathwork Facilitator Training So Unique & Effective?
Our Breathwork training certification is for those who have a deep respect for the profound power of connected breathing, and who understand that becoming a skilled and attuned facilitator takes time. It is for those who want to hold space safely, and who are willing to go on their own inner journey in order to reach their full potential as a facilitator and a human.
This unique online and in-person training combo allows you ample time to process and integrate the curriculum, without overwhelm. However, we’re strong believers that some things are better taught in person, and that is why we offer a 7-day in-person segment in stunning Sayulita, Mexico. You can find out more about our beautiful retreat home for the Breathwork Training while in Sayulita, here.
Although we highly encourage everyone to attend the in-person segment, if you cannot, we still welcome you to join our Breathwork facilitator training. You will have the opportunity to go over missed seminars with your teacher online.
Highlights of Our Breathwork Facilitator Training:
We Focus on the Inner Journey:
The extent to which you can hold space for others is limited by the depth of your own inner exploration. Thus, a significant portion of our 450-hour breathwork facilitator training is dedicated to nurturing your inner journey. Throughout our training, you will process and transcend your traumas, integrate your shadows, and step fully into your power.
You will graduate with a deep sense of confidence and purpose, and with a greater ability to connect to joy, peace, presence, and bliss. You will also move through life with a greater sense of equanimity and a turbocharged Felt Sense.
Most of our graduates say joining our training was the greatest gift they ever gave themselves, and it is our pleasure and privilege to hold space for this incredible transformation! This inner work will make you a true shining light and you will stand out as an inspiring Breathwork Facilitator who really walks the walks.
We Value Your Uniqueness & Encourage You to Infuse it Into Your Breathwork Offerings:
We don’t believe in creating cookie-cutter facilitators. Each student who joins us brings their own unique gifts, skills, wisdom, and life experiences. We wholeheartedly encourage you to infuse these elements into your offerings, making it authentically yours. In fact, many of our facilitators combine their current modalities with their breathwork offerings. We also welcome students who have completed another breathwork training and are seeking a more comprehensive and in-depth certification program.
Whether you are a talk therapist, sound healer, reiki master, ecstatic dance teacher, shamanic healer, plant medicine therapist, yoga teacher, or something else completely – we welcome you and support you! And if you are completely new to the wellness field, we welcome you as well; rest assured by the end of the training you will be holding space like a seasoned professional.
Our Curriculum is Incredibly Rich & Comprehensive
Our 450-hour Breathwork Facilitator training curriculum offers a wealth of rich and comprehensive content, ensuring that upon graduation, you will possess a depth of knowledge, skill, and attunement that surpasses the majority of facilitators in the field.
You’ll learn how to hold space for groups and 1:1 Breathwork sessions, both online and in person.
You will learn about how to “Frame” the session in a way that will allow your breathers to feel safe to explore their greatest depths. You’ll also learn how to create a kickass playlist and workshop; how to set up your space; basic and advanced supportive touch techniques; how to provide energetic healing with reiki; and how to identify and safely support people with contraindicated conditions. And that is just the beginning.
We will then explore the anatomy and physiology of breathwork, as well as the business and marketing side of breathwork. Then we’ll do a deep dive into trauma and how to hold space for people to safely navigate and process different types of trauma.
You will not only graduate as a trauma-informed practitioner with a depth of knowledge on all things connected breathwork related, you’ll also learn about other supportive breath practices, your Felt Sense, transmission, angel training, the use of voice and language, and more!
Perhaps most importantly, you’ll learn how to hold space with confidence and grace. At our training retreats, attendees consistently marvel at the expertise of our trainees, and cannot believe that they have not been doing this for years, as they are such well-rounded and remarkable Facilitators and space holders.
We Teach Advanced Touch, Reiki, and TRE
If you plan to facilitate in-person Breathwork sessions, you’ll soon discover the transformative power of touch! Mastering advanced techniques in this area can truly distinguish your breathwork offerings from the rest. Many of us are touch-deprived, and the right kind of supportive touch—applied at the right time and place—can facilitate significant breakthroughs in breathwork. It not only feels incredible but also allows participants to feel seen, cared for, and deeply supported as they navigate their breathwork journey.
We recognize the crucial role of touch and provide training in a variety of tools and techniques to seamlessly integrate touch into your sessions. Our breathwork training certification also includes an introduction to Tension and Trauma Release (TRE) taught by advanced practitioner Nate. This intro class will empower you to help your participants purposefully activate tremors and shaking to process trauma, release stuck emotions, and balance their nervous system.
In addition to advanced touch and TRE, we offer a certification in ‘Reiki Level 1 and Beyond’. This certification, taught by one of our graduates, equips you with the skills to integrate Reiki as well as key pressure points into your breathwork sessions. You will also learn how to use Reiki and its power symbols to enhance the support you provide to your participants, protect your own energy, cleanse the space energetically, and positively influence the overall group dynamic. This certification will also be an asset for your online breathwork sessions, enabling you to provide energetic support as a substitute for physical touch.
We Provide Flexibility & Plenty of Time to Integrate Your Learnings
With shotgun breathwork trainings, your depth of knowledge is extremely limited and you tend to forget the majority of your learnings. With our Breathwork facilitator training school, your studies will be completed over 8-12 months to allow ample time to absorb your learnings. And the training is structured to allow you to complete a large chunk of it on your own schedule and at your own pace.
We Offer Continued Support After Graduation
We have a massive learning library of hundreds of videos on pretty much any breathwork theme or subject you can imagine. There are masterclasses on there and recorded connected breathwork sessions and this learning library is available even after graduating and can be used for inspiration and continued learning.
We also include a monthly online meeting with Benedict Beaumont, who is the founder of our training school Breathing Space. This is a sacred space where students and graduates gather, connect, share, and learn. On top of all this, you will be deeply connected to your teacher Megan and your fellow trainees after the training and they will become your uplifting Breathwork family.
We Have a Deeply Supportive International Community
Everyone who joins our breathwork certification training is connected through the communication app Slack. This means you will always have a place to go for inspiration, to receive Breathwork sessions, and to ask questions or receive support.
This global community will also be a huge asset during your training. It provides an opportunity to practice facilitating breathwork and being facilitated by other trainees. This, in turn, will help to fulfill your graduation requirements of both offering and receiving group and one-on-one breathwork sessions.
There are also 5 free weekly breathwork journeys you can attend and as you progress through the training, you will have the opportunity to step-up and offer a session to our community with the support of your teacher.
Embark on Your Journey to Breathwork Facilitator Excellence
Discover Our Unique Hybrid In-Person & Online Breathwork Facilitator Training
With our training, you’ll go through the curriculum online with 17 two-hour group Zoom meetings with your teacher – Megan. The group size will be kept relatively small to ensure an intimate setting and make sure everyone feels deeply supported throughout.
We call it a hybrid training because it also offers an in-person segment. This will be 7 days long and held in the beautiful and charming beach town of Sayulita, Mx. The in-person segment will be an opportunity to deepen your learnings, and strengthen your understanding and facilitation skill sets. It will also be a chance to practice with other facilitators in training, learn from them, and create deep and supportive lifelong friendships.
You will have the opportunity to embark on Breathwork sessions facilitated by your classmates and step up and facilitate as well. This is a deeply enriching experience, and it will strengthen your Breathwork toolkit, skills, and knowledge even further.
Although we highly encourage you attend the Breathwork training retreat, if you would like to join this training but can’t make the in-person segment you are still welcome. You will be able to complete the final segment of seminars with online support calls with your teacher.

How Embarking on A Breathwork Facilitator Training with Unity Breathwork Founder Megan, Will Become Your Biggest Asset as a Facilitator
Gain Access to an Unsurpassed Breathwork & Holistic Healing Knowledge-Bank
Conscious, Connected Breathwork has been so incredibly transformative and healing in my life that I have now made it my life’s purpose to share the magic of the breath with as many people around the world as possible. As a part of that mission, I have studied with two leading international Breathwork Facilitator Training schools.
I live and breathe breathwork—both literally and figuratively! When I’m not facilitating breathwork sessions online and around the world, I’m teaching it, running retreats, or researching and writing about the practice. With 15 years of prior experience as a professional wellness writer, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in mental health, disease, holistic healing, and trauma.
For five years after becoming certified as a Breathwork Facilitator, I wrote exclusively for international Breathwork Facilitator Training schools including: Neurodynamic Breathwork, Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release Institute, Breath Masters, Owaken Breathwork, Alchemy of Breath, The Buteyko Breathing Clinic, and Oxygen Advantage. I’m sharing this only because each school taught me so much, and my depth of knowledge in the Breathwork realm is incredibly robust!
I am generous with my knowledge and love nothing more than sharing my hands-on, practical, and research-based learnings with others. When you graduate, you will have a depth of knowledge, confidence, and know-how that far surpasses most other facilitators around the world as well!
I Will Support & Coach You Every Step of the Way
As my trainee, it will be my mission to ensure you face your fears and step fully into your greatness. I will be there to support you, build you up, and cheer you on every step of the way.
I believe that everyone has their own personal gifts and life experiences that make them equipped to offer Breathwork in their own special and uniquely powerful way. And I will encourage you to infuse your personality, life experiences, and any other learnings and skills you have into your Breathwork offerings. Together we will alchemize your greatest challenges into your greatest gifts!
I Will Teach You How to Market Your Breathwork Offerings & Create a Successful Healing Practice
Did you know that the majority of certified breathwork facilitators aren’t facilitating? Many simply don’t feel confident enough because their training was too rapid or incomplete. As such, they don’t feel prepared to safely or effectively hold space for the depth of healing that is Breathwork. And sadly, many people who do undertake a thorough training, also do not offer Breathwork as their main career. This is because most Breathwork Facilitator trainings do not properly teach you how to market breathwork offerings, so it becomes difficult to get clients and make a business out of it.
Breathwork facilitation is deep and incredibly powerful work and the world needs more facilitators. But if qualified facilitators can’t afford to keep up with their offerings, then the world suffers. So learning how to properly market your breathwork is a gift not only to yourself but to all the people who will benefit from you holding space for them. As a 15-year professional writer, with SEO certifications, I will provide you with the tools necessary to make a success out of your practice!
I’m the Breathwork Facilitator Teacher for You, If You’d Like to Learn from Someone With:
- A grounded, compassionate, intuitive, welcoming approach that resonates with people from most walks of life.
- Years of hands-on experience facilitating breathwork.
- An incredible amount of knowledge in the breathwork and healing realm.
- A deep understanding of trauma recovery, mental health, and the science of the breath.
- An unwavering belief in your unique abilities and inner strength. I will guide you through any fears, doubts, or roadblocks you may encounter, and empower you to emerge as a radiant and confident trauma-informed Breathwork facilitator.
- A sense of humor – healing doesn’t always need to be so serious and getting a laugh from your clients is the quickest way to make them feel safe and at ease. I also think learning should be interactive and fun, and I will ensure our seminars together will be something that you look forward to each week!
Why Get Your Breathwork Facilitator Training Certification Through Make Some Breathing Space?

Plus it offers one of the most reasonable tuition fees around, bursary discounts, and the option to pay in monthly installments, to ensure the breathwork training is accessible to all. There is also an incredible community of students and graduates around the world who support each other online. You’ll not only have your course leader Megan to support you but also a personal mentor, and you will become a part of the global community where you’ll have 24-7 access to support through Slack.
There is also a massive learning library with an incredible range of topics that you can access at your leisure. Unit Two: Home Exploration
Part 1: Book Reports & Graduation Project
Trainees must choose, read, and then submit three reports on books from an extensive reading list. Trainees must also complete a ‘graduation project’. This project could be a website, app, podcast, dissertation, series of artwork, etc. And it will ideally help further your own development.
Part 2: Breathwork Practicums
The only real way to become a breathwork facilitator is to facilitate Breathworks. It is, therefore, a graduation requirement for trainees to receive weekly group breathworks throughout the duration of the training and receive 5 one-on-one Breathwork sessions (you can receive these through Breathing Space). Our trainees must also facilitate a minimum of 5 one-on-one Breathworks and 5 group Breathwork sessions.
Part 3: Personal Journey
If we are to hold others deep in process, we have to be prepared to go on a continuing journey of self-exploration and healing of our own. As part of your personal development, you will be asked to engage in weekly connected breathwork sessions, maintain a daily practice, and reflect on your experiences through five journal or blog entries. While this segment is not directly assessed, it is essential for trainees to fully commit to the profound inner journey that our breathwork training certification offers.

FAQ for Our Hybrid In-Person & Online Breathwork Facilitator Training:
When Does the Breathwork Training Start/What are the Dates for the Online and In-person Segments?
Our training consists of two main units: the Self Study Unit and the Seminars Unit. You can begin the Self Study Unit at any time, and it typically takes between 7 to 12 months to complete, depending on your monthly commitment. We encourage you to register before the launch of our Seminars Unit. This will give you a head start on your training and help reduce your overall workload once the seminars begin.
The Seminars Unit begins on Monday, December 16th with an Orientation class and Seminar 1, on January 6th. It includess 17 live weekly Zoom sessions, each lasting 2 hours, over a 5-month period. These sessions will be held every Monday, with a break on the first Monday of each month for catch-up. This unit also includes bite-sized video recordings and practical activities that you can complete at your own pace before each seminar. The 17 weekly sessions will culminate in a 7-day in-person segment in Sayulita, Mexico, scheduled for May 15th-22nd, 2025.
What is the Tuition for the Breathwork Facilitator Training?
We’ve kept our tuition lower than other 450-hour breathwork training programs to ensure accessibility for everyone. We offer bursary placements with a 20% discount for those in need, as well as monthly payment plans. For the most up-to-date information on the financial commitment for our training, please download our training brochure.
Will this Training Fit into a Busy Lifestyle?/How Many Hours Do I Need to Dedicate Per Week for the Breathwork Training Certification?
We’ve designed our training with flexibility to accommodate even the busiest schedules. During the 5-month seminar period, the weekly time commitment is approximately 3-5 hours. For the Home Exploration unit, you have up to a year to complete it, allowing you to dedicate as little as 1-2 hours per week and still finish on time.
How Many Hours is the Training?
Our Breathwork training certification is 450-hours and it features home exploration work, practicums, and bite-sized video seminars that you can complete at your own pace. The true essence of the training, however, unfolds during our live sessions. The online portion includes 17 two-hour group seminars on Zoom, and the program culminates with a 7-day in-person experiential segment in Sayulita, Mexico.
Is the Training Certified by the GPBA?
Yes, our breathwork training is certified by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, which upholds the highest standards for training programs. Even if you choose not to train with us, we recommend selecting a school with this certification to ensure you receive a comprehensive and high-quality training.
Is this a Trauma-informed Breathwork Facilitator Training?
Our breathwork training certification is trauma-informed, which is crucial because conscious connected breathing involves working with individuals’ traumas and subconscious programming, making them particularly vulnerable. To hold space effectively and safely, it’s essential to undergo a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator training. This is neccessary to ensure your participants safety and comfort, prevent potential retraumatization, and ensure your participants leave better off than before their session.
What’s the Difference Between a Breathwork Facilitator Training and a Breathwork Practitioner Training?
Currently, there is no global regulatory body overseeing connected breathwork and its various offshoots. As a result, the terminology is not standardized, leading to different terms often referring to the same concepts. For instance, while some breathwork schools designate their graduates as “breathwork facilitators,” others use the term “breathwork practitioners,” both referring to the same role. Additionally, some schools implement a tiered training structure, where first-level students are called “breathwork facilitators,” and those who pursue further training are referred to as “breathwork practitioners,” suggesting that practitioners have more experience.
Our 450-hour training program is highly comprehensive, and there is no need for an ‘upgrade’ to use the term “breathwork practitioner.” Although we typically use “breathwork facilitator,” as it is the more traditional term, you are welcome to identify as a “breathwork practitioner” if you prefer after training with us.
Can I Make a Living As a Breathwork Facilitator?
While the likelihood of becoming a millionaire as a breathwork facilitator may be low, it is certainly possible to make a sustainable living in this field – and to wake up every day truly inspired by what you do!
Connected breathwork is arguably the fastest and most effective pathway for healing and personal upliftment. If you are dedicated to sharing this work with others, the financial rewards will follow. And there has never been a better time to get certified. By starting now, you position yourself ahead of the curve, giving yourself the opportunity to establish a name before connected breathwork gains broader recognition and competition increases.
We’ve seen facilitators successfully run group sessions with 20, 30, or even 40 participants. At just $40 per person for a 2-hour workshop, your potential earnings could range from $800 to $1,600 for a single class. While building to that point takes time and dedication, it’s an achievable goal.
Our breathwork facilitator training is also distinctive because we offer a second-year teacher training program that equips you with the skills to teach others to become breathwork facilitators. This not only serves as a deeply fulfilling vocation but can also be a significant additional income stream. We are proud to offer a platform that empowers all our trainees to step up and shine, and we believe our approach is unmatched in the breathwork training landscape.
