What Makes Our Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator Training So Unique & Effective?

Our Breathwork training course is for those who deeply respect the profound power of connected breathing and the altered states it leads to. It is for those who understand that becoming a skilled and attuned facilitator takes time. And it is for those who want to hold space safely, and who are willing to go on their own inner journey in order to reach their full potential.
Our hybrid, trauma-informed certification combines profound personal transformation with advanced facilitation skills, empowering you to become a safe, attuned, and deeply effective breathwork guide.
What sets us apart is our incredibly comprehensive curriculum, which includes advanced supportive touch techniques, Tension and Trauma Release (TRE), Reiki certification, and expert training in using music and sound. These unique additional learning features will enrich the experience for your breathers, elevate you as a leader in the breathwork field, and clearly distinguish our program from any others you’ll find.
Below is a closer look at what makes our training truly exceptional.
You’ll Experience the Best of Both Worlds: Online and In-Person Training

Our online breathwork facilitator training gives you ample time to absorb, process, and integrate the curriculum at a steady, manageable pace—without overwhelm. But we also know that certain skills are best learned face-to-face, through direct experience and embodied practice. That’s why we include an 8-day in-person advanced training retreat in breathtaking Cabo, Mexico, where you’ll refine your facilitation, receive hands-on mentorship, and deepen your confidence in holding space.
You’ll Embark On a Deep & Life Changing Inner Journey
Your ability to hold space for others is only as deep as your own inner exploration. That’s why a significant part of our 450-hour breathwork teacher training is dedicated to your personal transformation.

Through this journey, you’ll process trauma, integrate your shadows, and step into your power—emerging with confidence, purpose, and a profound connection to joy, peace, and presence.
Our graduates often call this training the greatest gift they’ve given themselves, and we are honored to guide you through this transformation. This inner work will make you a radiant, intuitive, and inspiring Breathwork Facilitator who truly walks the walk.
Your Uniqueness Will Be Valued & Encouraged
We don’t create cookie-cutter facilitators. Each student brings unique gifts, skills, and life experiences, and we encourage you to infuse them into your offerings. In fact, many of our graduates blend breathwork with other modalities. Whether you’re a talk therapist, sound healer, Reiki master, yoga teacher, or entirely new to wellness, you belong here. By the end of our training, you’ll hold space with confidence and skill, ready to share your authentic approach with the world.
Our Curriculum is Incredibly Rich & Comprehensive
Our trauma-informed Breathwork Facilitator Training offers a transformative, immersive curriculum designed to empower you with both profound knowledge and practical skills. Whether you are just starting with breathwork or looking to build on your previous training, our program offers in-depth learning experiences and continuous support to help you become an exceptional breathwork facilitator.

You’ll learn to hold space for both group and 1:1 sessions, in-person and online. Perhaps most importantly, you’ll learn how to hold space with confidence and grace. At our in-person breathwork training retreats, attendees consistently marvel at the expertise of our trainees, and cannot believe that they have not been doing this for years, as they are such well-rounded and remarkable Facilitators and space holders.
You’ll Learn Advanced Supportive Touch Skills

If you plan to facilitate in-person Breathwork sessions, you’ll soon discover the transformative power of touch! Mastering advanced techniques in this area can truly distinguish your breathing coach offerings from the rest.
Many of us are touch-deprived, and the right kind of supportive touch—applied at the right time and place—can facilitate significant breakthroughs in breathwork. It not only feels incredible but also allows participants to feel seen, cared for, and deeply supported as they navigate their breathwork journey.
You’ll Learn Trauma-Release Exercises (TRE)

Our accredited breathwork training also includes an introduction to Tension and Trauma Release (TRE) taught by advanced practitioner Nate. This intro class will empower you to help your participants purposefully activate tremors and shaking to process trauma, release stuck emotions, and restore balance to their nervous systems.
You’ll Receive a Reiki for Breathworkers Certificate

We also offer a certification in ‘Reiki Level 1 & Beyond’. This certification equips you to integrate Reiki and key pressure points into your breathwork sessions. You’ll learn how to use Reiki’s power symbols to enhance support, protect your energy, energetically cleanse the space, and positively influence the group dynamic. This certification is also invaluable for online breathwork sessions, allowing you to provide energetic support in place of physical touch.
You’ll Learn the Art of Music & Sound Therapy in Breathwork

One of the many benefits of our breathwork training is the emphasis we place on advanced music skills. Music plays an integral role in the breathwork journey—supporting the build of the breath, guiding emotional release, and deepening the overall experience. By the end of our training, you’ll be a confident “breathwork DJ,” equipped with the tools and understanding needed to create powerful, intentional and deeply supportive playlists.
During our in-person segment, you’ll also participate in a hands-on seminar exploring how to use simple yet potent instruments—such as sound bowls, shakers, voice amps, and chimes—to further enhance your sessions. These advanced musical and sound skills will set you apart as a facilitator and leave a lasting impact on everyone who breathes with you.
You’ll Receive Continued Support & Learning After Graduation
We have a massive learning library of hundreds of masterclass videos on pretty much any breathwork and trauma-related theme you can imagine. There are also hundreds of recorded breathwork sessions and this learning library is available even after graduating and can be used for inspiration and continued learning.

We also include a monthly online meeting with Benedict Beaumont, the founder of our breathwork training certification. This is a sacred space where students and graduates gather, connect, share, and learn. On top of all this, you will be deeply connected to your teacher Megan, and your fellow trainees after the training and they will become your uplifting Breathwork family.
You Become a Part of Our Deeply Supportive International Community
Everyone who joins our breathwork facilitator training is connected through the communication app Slack. This means you will always have a place to go for inspiration and support. There are also 5 free online breathwork journeys per week that you can attend.

Gain Access to an Unsurpassed Breathwork & Holistic Healing Knowledge-Bank
Conscious, Connected Breathwork has been so incredibly transformative and healing in my life that I have now made it my life’s purpose to share the magic of the breath with as many people around the world as possible. As a part of that mission, I have studied with two leading international Breathwork Facilitator Training schools and have more than 1200 hours of training.
I live and breathe breathwork—both literally and figuratively! When I’m not facilitating breathwork sessions online and around the world, I’m teaching it, running retreats, or researching and writing about the practice. With 15 years of prior experience as a professional worker, researcher, and writer, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in mental health, disease, holistic healing, and trauma.
Perhaps more importantly, for five years after becoming certified as a Breathwork Facilitator, I wrote exclusively for other international Breathwork Training schools including:
- Neurodynamic Breathwork
- Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release Institute
- Breath Masters
- Owaken Breathwork
- Alchemy of Breath
- The Buteyko Breathing Clinic
- Oxygen Advantage

Each school has provided valuable lessons, expanding my depth of knowledge in the breathwork field. The insights I gained from these schools, combined with my eight years of real-world experience, are woven into the breathwork training curriculum. The best part for you is that, through this single training, you’ll benefit from not only my extensive experience, but all of these schools’ teachings.
I also hold certifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Yoga Instruction, Reiki, and Holistic Nutrition, along with a degree in Media. Drawing from this diverse background, I integrate multiple modalities into my teachings to offer a well-rounded, holistic approach.
I am generous with my knowledge and love nothing more than sharing my hands-on, practical, and research-based learnings with others. When you graduate, you will have a depth of knowledge, confidence, and know-how that far surpasses most other facilitators around the world as well!
I Will Support & Coach You Every Step of the Way
As my trainee, it will be my mission to ensure you face your fears and step fully into your greatness. I will be there to support you, build you up, and cheer you on every step of the way.
I believe that each person has distinct gifts and life experiences that make them equipped to offer Breathwork in their own special and uniquely powerful way. And I will encourage you to infuse your personality, life experiences, and any other learnings and skills you have into your Breathwork offerings. Together we will alchemize your greatest challenges into your greatest assets!a
I Will Teach You How to Market Your Breathwork Offerings & Create a Successful Healing Practice

Did you know that the majority of certified breathwork facilitators aren’t facilitating? Many simply don’t feel confident enough because their breathwork training program was too rapid or incomplete. As such, they don’t feel prepared to safely or effectively hold space for the depth of healing that is Breathwork.
Sadly, even those who do undertake a thorough training typically do not offer Breathwork as their main career. This is because most Breathwork training programs do not properly teach you how to market breathwork offerings, so it becomes difficult to get clients and make a business out of it.
Breathwork facilitation is deep and incredibly powerful work and the world needs more facilitators. But if qualified facilitators can’t afford to keep up with their offerings, then the world suffers. So learning how to properly market your breathwork is a gift not only to yourself but to all the people who will benefit from you holding space for them. As a 15-year professional wellness writer, with SEO certifications, I will provide you with the tools necessary to make a success out of your practice!
I’m the Breathwork Facilitator Teacher for You If You’d Like to Learn from Someone With:
- A grounded, compassionate, intuitive, welcoming approach that resonates with people from most walks of life
- Years of hands-on experience facilitating breathwork
- Zero guru vibes – we are all teachers on a twin trail
- An incredible amount of knowledge in the breathwork and healing realm
- A deep understanding of trauma recovery, mental health, and the science of the breath
- An unwavering belief in your unique abilities and inner strength
- A sense of humor – healing doesn’t always need to be so serious. Getting a laugh from your clients is the quickest way to make them feel safe and at ease. Similarly, learning should be interactive and fun. And I will ensure our seminars together will be something that you look forward to each week!

Breathwork Facilitator Training Unit Two: Home Exploration

- Book Reports & Graduation Project. Trainees must choose, read, and submit three reports. They must also complete a ‘graduation project’. This project is open-ended and will ideally help further your own development as a facilitator.
- Breathwork Practicums. The only real way to become a breathwork facilitator is to facilitate Breathworks. It is, therefore, a graduation requirement for trainees to receive weekly group breathworks throughout the duration of the training. They must also receive 5 one-on-one Breathworks, and facilitate 5 one-on-one and 5 group Breathworks.
- Personal Journey. If we are to hold others deep in process, we have to be prepared to go on a continuing journey of self-exploration and healing of our own. This segment is not directly assessed, but it’s expected for trainees to have a daily breath practice and commit themselves to the deep inner journey offered by our training.

FAQ About Our Trauma Informed Breathwork Training
When Does the Breathwork Training Start/What Are the Dates for the Online and In-person Segments?
Our training consists of two main units: the Self-Study Unit and the Seminars Unit.
The Self-Study Unit can be started at any time and typically takes 10–12 months to complete. By enrolling early, you’ll gain a valuable head start—allowing you to graduate sooner and easing your overall workload once the live seminars begin.
We highly recommend registering before the next Seminars Unit launches so you can move through the material at your own pace, build a strong foundation, and feel spacious and well-prepared when live classes start.
While we may schedule an additional cohort in Fall 2025, the next confirmed Seminars Unit begins on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, with an Open Orientation class.
This unit includes:
• 20 live interactive Zoom sessions (2 hours each) over an 8-month period
• Bite-sized video lessons
• Practical activities you can complete at your own pace before each seminar
The Seminars Unit culminates in an 8-day in-person breathwork facilitator training in Cabo, Mexico, scheduled for November 2026.
What is the Tuition?
We’ve intentionally kept our tuition lower than other GPBA-certified breathwork facilitator training programs to ensure it remains accessible to all. The cost for our 450-hour trauma-informed training is $5,800 USD.
To further support accessibility, we offer 20% bursaries for individuals in lower income brackets, as well as for Canadians who are specifically in need due to the weaker Canadian dollar.
In addition to bursaries, we provide flexible and interest-free monthly payment plans that allow you to spread payments over 10+ months for easier budgeting.
If you prefer to pay upfront, you’ll receive a 10% discount, bringing the total to $4,860 USD.
Please note that this tuition covers all training hours, including the in-person segment, but does not include accommodation costs for the 8-day in-person training intensive.
Will this Training Fit into a Busy Lifestyle?/How Many Hours Do I Need to Dedicate Per Week?
We’ve designed our breathwork facilitator training with flexibility to accommodate even the busiest schedules. During the seminar period, the weekly time commitment is approximately 4-5 hours. For the Home Exploration unit, you have up to a year to complete it, allowing you to dedicate as little as 1-2 hours per week and still finish on time.
How Many Hours Is the Breathwork Training?
Our Breathwork Facilitator Training Certification is one of the most comprehensive in the industry, offering a robust 450-hour curriculum. You will graduate as a confident leader in the field, fully equipped to navigate the intense experiences that can arise in breathwork with grace and expertise.
Is the Training Certified by the GPBA?
Yes, our breathwork facilitator training is certified by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, which upholds the highest standards for training programs. Even if you choose not to train with us, we recommend selecting a school with this certification to ensure you receive a comprehensive and high-quality training.
Is this a Trauma-informed Breathwork Facilitator Training?
Our breathwork facilitator training certification is trauma-informed, which is crucial because conscious connected breathing involves working with individuals’ traumas and subconscious programming, making them particularly vulnerable. To hold space effectively and safely, it’s essential to undergo a trauma-informed breathwork certification.
What’s the Difference Between a Breathwork Facilitator Training and a Breathwork Practitioner Training?
Currently, there is no global regulatory body overseeing connected breathwork and its various offshoots. As a result, the terminology is not standardized, leading to different terms often referring to the same concepts. For instance, while some breathwork schools designate their graduates as “breathwork facilitators,” others use the term “breathwork practitioners,” both referring to the same role. Additionally, some schools implement a tiered training structure, where first-level students are called “breathwork facilitators,” and those who pursue further training are referred to as “breathwork practitioners,” suggesting that practitioners have more experience.
Our 450-hour training program is highly comprehensive, and there is no need for an ‘upgrade’ to use the term “breathwork practitioner.” Although we typically use “breathwork facilitator,” as it is the more traditional term, you are welcome to identify as a “breathwork practitioner” if you prefer after training with us.
How Much is a Typical Breathwork Facilitator Salary?
While becoming a millionaire as a breathwork facilitator might not be the norm, the potential to build a fulfilling and sustainable career in this field is absolutely within reach.
Connected breathwork is touted as the fastest and most effective pathway for healing and personal upliftment. If you are dedicated to sharing this work with others, the financial rewards will follow. And there has never been a better time to become a certified breathwork facilitator. By starting now, you position yourself ahead of the curve, giving yourself the opportunity to establish a name before connected breathwork gains broader recognition and competition increases.
We’ve seen facilitators successfully run group sessions with 20, 30, or even 40 participants. At just $50 per person for a 90-minute workshop, your potential earnings could be upwards of $1000 for a single class. While building to that point takes time and dedication, it’s an achievable goal.
Can I Continue Learning After Getting Certified?
Our breathwork facilitator training is distinctive because we offer a second-year teacher training program that equips you with the skills to take on apprentices and teach them to become breathwork facilitators.
This not only serves as a deeply fulfilling vocation that will deepen your own skills as a facilitator but can also be a significant additional income stream. We are proud to offer a platform that empowers all our trainees to step up and shine, and we believe our approach is unmatched in the breathwork facilitator training landscape.
