Holotropic Breathwork is a branded technique that can technically only be facilitated by those who have trained through the Grof Transpersonal Training program. However, the practice of connected breathing that Holotropic Breathwork uses is universal—no one owns the technique! Throughout history, various religions and cultures have utilized forms of connected breathing to achieve altered states of consciousness for inner exploration, healing, and transformation.
In the West, modern breathwork gained popularity in the 1960’s, with two primary schools leading the movement: Holotropic Breathwork and Rebirthing. From these two approaches, many offshoots have emerged, each with its own unique variation. While the specific set and setting may differ among these schools, they are united by the use of conscious, connected breathing to induce non-ordinary states of consciousness and facilitate deep healing, release, and personal growth.
So, while we may not offer the brand-name Holotropic Breathwork, we provide equally profound Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions.
